Recipe: Kentucky Colonel (serves one)
- 1 1/4 oz. bourbon
- 1/4 oz. Bénédictine
- Lemon twist
Shake liquid ingredients vigorously with ice in a cocktail shaker. Strain into glass. Run lemon peel around rim of glass and drop into drink.
This simple but delicious two-ingredient cocktail can be thought of as a bourbon version of the B & B, or a Monte Carlo without the bitters. The herbal Bénédictine adds a bit of sweetness, but this is primarily a bourbon drink.
