Recipe: Rude Cosmopolitan (serves two)
- 2 oz. tequila
- 1 1/2 oz. cranberry juice
- 1 oz. Cointreau (or triple sec)
- 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
- Orange peel for garnish
Shake ingredients vigorously with ice. Strain into cocktail glass, and garnish with orange peel.
This recipe is similar to the classic Cosmopolitan cocktail, except it substitutes tequila for the vodka, making a more flavorful drink. You can also think of it as a cranberry margarita. It’s delicious; we especially like it with pure cranberry juice.
