Recipe: The Spicy Pineapple (serves one)
- 3 jalapeño slices
- 3 cilantro sprigs
- 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
- 2 parts pineapple juice
- 1 part club soda
- cilantro sprig for garnish
Muddle jalapeño slices, cilantro sprigs, and lime juice in the bottom of a 12-oz. glass. Add ice. Fill with two parts pineapple juice to one part club soda. Garnish with cilantro sprig.
We have a jalapeño plant that produces a crazy number of peppers, so we thought we’d try making a spicy drink. This is what we came up with. You may want to adjust the number of jalapeño slices depending on their spice level (ours are particularly spicy). If you’re looking for a non-spicy pineapple drink, try our Oahu Spritzer.
