Recipe: Aperol Spritz (serves one)
- 3 oz. Aperol
- 3 oz. dry Prosecco
- 1 oz. club soda
- orange wheel
Pour Aperol into an ice-filled wine glass. Slowly top with Prosecco and club soda. Garnish with orange wheel.
We had one of these delicious and refreshing cocktails at Eataly in LA, and decided to make one at home. The star ingredient is Aperol, an aperitif that is made by the same company as Campari, but is sweeter and lower in alcohol. This is a perfect drink to welcome warmer weather — just be sure to use a good quality dry sparkling wine.
